She participated on the iQIYI survival show Youth With You 2 which first aired on March 12, 2020 as a TPG Culture representative. She was eliminated in the 9th episode falling somewhere in the 107th-64th bracket. On May 31, 2023, she was revealed as a contestant for the Taiwanese reality survival show NEXT GIRLZ as a TEN Entertainment and GENBLUE representative.

The group did not end up winning the show; however, GENBLUE will still debut sometime in 2024. On August 26, 2024, the group announced that they would be making their official debut in both China and South Korea with the digital single "Cococo" on September 2.
