She was originally revealed as a contestant for the Taiwanese reality show Dancing Diamond 52. However, she could not participate due to not meeting the age limit requirement for the show. On May 31, 2023, she was revealed as a contestant for the Taiwanese reality survival show NEXT GIRLZ as a TEN Entertainment and GENBLUE representative.

The group did not end up winning the show; however, GENBLUE would still debut sometime in 2024. She made her official debut with GENBLUE on September 2, 2024 with the digital single "Cococo", which was released in both China and South Korea.
