On January 7, 2010, he made his debut as a member of ZE:A with their first single album "Nativity", under his real name Junyoung. On June 17, 2013, he debuted as a member of ZE:A's second sub-unit ZE:A 4U with the Japanese mini album Oops!! ~ アプサ!!
~. On August 22, 2014, he announced that he would start promoting under the stage name Lee Hoo, citing negative feelings surrounding his name. The same year, he debuted as a club DJ on November 28 under the stage name DJ ZE:After following his hiatus due to friction with Star Empire Entertainment's CEO.
On May 28, 2016, he made his solo debut with digital single "Too Late", under the stage name ZE:After. On January 6, 2017, his contract with Star Empire Entertainment expired and he decided to not renew. On September 19, it was officially announced that he had departed from the agency to embark on independent activities.
Despite this, he was still a member of ZE:A as they went on an indefinite hiatus.
