In 2007, he became a trainee under Star Empire Entertainment. On January 7, 2010, he debuted as a member of ZE:A with their first single album "Nativity". On February 7, 2013, he made his debut as a member of ZE:A's first sub-unit ZE:A FIVE with their first Japanese single album "The Classic".
On March 29, 2013, he was announced as the host of Arirang TV's radio show HOT BEAT. On September 3, 2014, he debuted as the leader of the trio co-ed project group NASTY NASTY with the digital single "Knock". On January 21, 2015, he debuted as a part of ZE:A's third sub-unit ZE:A J with the single album "Roulette".
On April 21, 2016, he had his first solo release with the digital single "Collection". On January 6, 2017, his contract with Star Empire Entertainment expired. Despite this, he was still a member of ZE:A as they went on an indefinite hiatus.
Later that year, on May 14, it was officially announced that he had left the agency to make his new start as the DJ of the radio show SBS PopAsia Live in Australia. On June 29, 2018, he announced that he would be stepping down as the DJ of SBS PopAsia Live. On August 14, 2018, he made his official solo debut with the digital single "New Rack".
On July 1, 2020, he became active as a YouTuber and started posted videos of him doing ASMR, cooking and vlogs about his life.
