On September 1, 2017, he was revealed as a member of the boy group BOY STORY through official SNS posts. He officially debuted in the group on September 21, 2018 with their mini album Enough. On June 12, 2025, he was introduced as a contestant of Mnet's survival show Boys II Planet, representing NCC Entertainment.

During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 3rd overall, thus making him a member of ALPHA DRIVE ONE. The group would make their debut on January 12, 2026 with the mini album Euphoria.
