On June 7, 2025, Chung Sang Hyeon was revealed as one of the contestants of the upcoming survival show Boys II Planet after being chosen by trainees as a 'Visual Poster'. On June 12, he was officially revealed as a contestant on Boys II Planet, representing WAKEONE. During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 7th overall, thus making him a member of ALPHA DRIVE ONE.

On October 12, WAKEONE announced that Chung Sang Hyeon had changed his stage name to Sanghyeon. ALPHA DRIVE ONE made their debut on January 12, 2026 with the mini album Euphoria.
