On September 8, 2021, Seungju was featured in the trailer for the show My Teenage Girl, confirming her participation. She was eliminated in the 11th episode, which aired on February 20, 2022, as she was one of the contestants with the least amount of votes. On September 11, 2024, Seungjoo was revealed as the sixth member of SAY MY NAME.
The group debuted on October 16, 2024 with the EP SAY MY NAME.
