On November 26, 2013, she made her debut in Peach Girl with their first and only digital single "Fox-fur Muffler". She presumably left the group in March 2014. In mid-2014, Hyunji started promoting as a member of CLEF Company's pre-debut girl group QNA.
The group was scheduled for debut in 2015 but unfortunately disbanded the same year. In 2017, she starred in the web drama Traces of the Hand and played the role of a nurse in the movie Daddy You, Daughter Me. After being revealed as the second member of Hashtag on September 19, 2017, she officially debuted in the group on October 11, with the group's first mini album The Girl Next Door.
On October 12, 2024, it was announced that Hashtag had disbanded after their contracts with LUK Factory expired.
