After being revealed as the third member of Hashtag on September 22, 2017, she officially debuted in the group on October 11, with the group's first mini album The Girl Next Door. On March 21, 2023, it was announced that she, along with Dajeong, had left Hashtag. On that same day, Aeji shared that their departures were solely decided upon by their agency and that they had no prior discussions until the announcement was made.
