On January 13, 2021, Evermore Music announced on Twitter announcing the opening of EVERMORE MUSE's Instagram account. On the same day, the first member Sunwoo was revealed. The next day, Yuju was revealed as the second member.
On February 19, the third member, Hanseol, was introduced. However, she has not appeared in the team's posts ever since. On August 12, 2021, the group's Instagram account was changed to an artist development and audition account, and the same month, they opened their auditions in search for new members.
Through the new account, trainee Eunhye was revealed on September 21, 2021. The following year, on January 26, 2022, the newest member Yiyeon was revealed. Member Eunhye stopped appearing on the group's Instagram page.
Shortly after, auditions were held for a new member, confirming Eunhye's departure. Around this time, a trainee named Chaeyoon joined the group. In February 2023, Chaeyoon left the group due to unknown reasons.
The group's Instagram roughly became inactive since July 2022, hinting the group had disbanded. However, the account then became active again in July 2023. On March 9, 2025, Yuju posted an Instagram reel with Sunwoo confirming they are still in the group.
