Following the departures of original members Seoha, Juhwi, and Rina from ILUV's original pre-debut lineup, she was added to the group. She officially debuted as a member of ILUV on April 30, 2019 with the group's first digital single "Got It". The group presumably disbanded in 2020.

On July 16, 2020, Cui Xiang was revealed as the fourth member of BOTOPASS. The group debuted on August 26 with their first single album Flamingo. On August 25, 2022, their agency announced they disbanded the group after her departure, along with Jiwon and Seoyoon, on the same day due to various situations.
