In December 2017, she was added to the lineup of the girl group BaBa under the stage name Maum. She made her official debut with the group on July 3, 2018 with their fourth digital single "Oh! My God!
". She was the new maknae of their 2017 lineup. However, she left the group later in the same year.
In 2019, she became a part of the girl group Moonlight Girls under the stage name Serin, but left before their debut. In 2022, she appeared on the survival show U2U: Up to You, where one hundred broadcast jockeys (BJs) competed to debut in the girl group UPTOYOU, as well as winning a prize of 100 million KRW. However, she was eliminated and did not debut with the group.
