On February 28, 2023, the British-based K-pop girl group KAACHI announced their official disbandment after all four members departed from the agency FrontRow Records. Despite the disbandment, members Nicole, Coco and Chunseo decided to remain working alongside each other; they eventually formed their own independent three-member girl group, ATTI, which they officially revealed in March 2023. On July 19, ATTI announced that they would be releasing a pre-release digital single, "Blue", on August 11.
It was announced they would be making an official debut sometime in the later half of 2023. On September 16, 2023, ATTI announced on social media that the group would debut with the EP Peaches.
