Prior to her official reveal, JinSoul was teased as a member of LOONA after featuring on ViVi's song "Everyday I Need You". On June 13, 2017, she was revealed as the seventh member of LOONA. Her solo single album, titled "JinSoul" was released on June 26.
She debuted as a member of the group's second sub-unit, ODD EYE CIRCLE, on September 21, 2017 with the mini album Mix & Match. On August 20, 2018, LOONA debuted as a full twelve-member group with their first mini album + +. In an article published by JTBC on November 28, it was revealed that JinSoul and all LOONA members except Hyunjin and Vivi have reportedly filed a lawsuit to suspend their contracts with BlockBerryCreative due to their trust in the company being damaged.
BlockBerryCreative denies all claims. On January 13, 2023, the Seoul Northern District Court announced that they ruled in favor of JinSoul, along with HeeJin, Kim Lip, and Choerry, to suspend their exclusive contracts with BlockBerryCreative. On February 1, a source from BlockBerryCreative confirmed that they will submit a petition asking to suspend their entertainment activities.
On March 17, it was announced that she, alongside Kim Lip, HeeJin, and Choerry have signed exclusive contracts with MODHAUS, the record label founded by their former director Jaden Jeong. On April 1, she, alongside Kim Lip, HeeJin and Choerry were revealed to be taking part in MODHAUS' strategy project ARTMS. On June 20, 2024, it was revealed that she, alongside Kim Lip, HeeJin, and Choerry won their lawsuit against Blockberry Creative.
On October 20, it was revealed that she will be releasing the digital single "Ring of Chaos" on October 23.
