On May 20, 2021, Tae Sung was revealed as a contestant for SBS's audition show LOUD. Unfortunately, he was eliminated during the first round and was unable to move on. On December 11, it was revealed that he had joined the co-ed group K-TIGERS ZERO when his profile photos were released.

On September 26, 2024, he was officially introduced as a contestant of Project 7. On November 8, he was eliminated in episode 5 after ranking 78th place.
