On December 29, he was introduced as a contestant of Boys Planet, which aired on February 2. On March 2, he was eliminated in episode 5 after ranking 86th place. On May 2, 2025, Hyo was announced as a contestant on the SBS survival show B:MY BOYZ.

During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 1st overall, thus making him a member of YUHZ.
