On April 21, 2020, Junsoo was revealed as the fifth member of Think About Entertainment's upcoming boy group DREAMER. Their debut is expected sometime around 2021. On September 21, Junsoo was announced as a contestant in the 2020 teen reality competition show CAP-TEEN.
He did not pass the first performance evaluation and thus was eliminated. On May 19, 2022, he participated at Stars Awakening survival show as a contestant. Unfortunately he was eliminated on the ninth episode due to the failure to pass the fourth round.
On November 13, 2023, he was revealed as a member of the upcoming boy group WAKER. They made their debut on January 8, 2024 with the mini album Mission of School.
