On July 9, 2010, Changjo made his debut as a member of the group TEEN TOP with the release of their single album "Come Into The World". On November 16, 2019, Changjo released his first solo digital single "Never Anything". On December 28, 2021, TOP Media announced that Changjo would not be renewing his contract with them starting from January 10, 2022, although he will still be a member of TEEN TOP.
On January 24, 2022, it was announced that Changjo and Niel would be holding a Friends Fan-Con called "Missing You" on February 26. On June 7, 2023, Beat Interactive announced that Changjo has signed an exclusive contract with them. On July 7, 2025, Beat Interactive announced that Changjo's exclusive contract had ended.
On September 1, Changjo announced that he will be releasing his first English digital single "Trapped In My Head", on September 8. On September 23, Changjo announced his second English digital single "Stay Down", set for release on October 1. On October 17, Changjo signed an exclusive contract with PA Entertainment.
