On July 9, 2010, Chunji made his debut as a member of the group TEEN TOP with the release of their single album "Come Into The World". On December 16, 2022, Chunji released his first solo single album "Too Late". On December 28, 2023, TOP Media announced that he, along with groupmate Ricky, would be departing from the agency following the expiration of their contracts and decided not to renew.

However, both members will still remain members of TEEN TOP. On April 19, 2024, TRENDX ENT announced that Chunji would be releasing his second single album "A Precious Memory" on April 26.
