In November 2019, Wangseok joined WM Entertainment and became a member of their trainee group WM Ggumnamu. He left WM Entertainment sometime in 2020. On May 22, 2023, he was confirmed as a member of H.
LAND Entertainment's upcoming boy group PLAN B. He debuted in the group on August 17, 2023 with the single album "1 Percent". On September 26, 2024, he was officially introduced as a contestant of Project 7.
On November 29, he was eliminated in episode 8 after ranking 51st place. On February 12, 2025, Wangseok was announced as one of the new members of the upcoming boy group SW:C.
