On April 19, 2015, S. Coups was introduced through a video teaser as one of the 13 members of Pledis Entertainment's newest boy group SEVENTEEN. The group would be introduced through the reality program Seventeen Project – The Debut Mission.
On May 26, he debuted with the group with their first mini album 17 Carat. On August 11, 2025, it was announced that members S. Coups and Mingyu will release a unit album in September.
