On April 19, 2015, Jun was introduced through a video teaser as one of the 13 members of Pledis Entertainment's newest boy group SEVENTEEN. They would be introduced through the reality program “Seventeen Project – The Debut Mission. ” On May 26, he debuted with the group with their first mini album 17 Carat.
On November 22, 2018, he announced that he would be releasing his first special single album "能不能坐在我身旁" on December 14. On February 9, 2021, he announced that he would be releasing his first digital single album "Silent Boarding Gate" on February 13. "Crow" was released on February 5, 2021 as pre-release single.
