On May 20, 2021, he was revealed as a contestant for SBS's audition show LOUD. During the eleventh episode, which was aired on August 14, he received and accepted the casting offer from JYP Entertainment. He was eliminated in round 7.
He made his debut as a member of POW on October 11, 2023 with the EP Favorite.
