On July 10, 2023, it was announced that Yorch had signed an exclusive contract with start-up company GRID Entertainment. The agency detailed plans of debuting Yorch in a new boy group. On July 31, 2023, GRID Entertainment opened up SNS accounts for their upcoming boy group POW, revealing also all five members (Yorch, Hyunbin, Jungbin, Dongyeon and Hong) through some launching films.
In addition, they announced that the group will make their debut in September 2023. On August 28, 2023, it was announced that POW will release a pre-debut single on September 13, before making their official debut on October 11 with their first EP. On September 1, the title of the digital single "Favorite" was unveiled.
On September 27, the title of the debut EP, Favorite, was revealed. On January 9, 2024, POW announced their upcoming release scheduled for January 25. On January 15, the title of their upcoming digital single was revealed to be "Valentine".
On September 11, POW announced that they would be unveiling a pre-release single on September 23 before making their comeback with their second EP in October. The next day, the EP was revealed to be released on October 21. Through the EP's planner unveiled on September 12, the pre-released song was revealed to be "Sunset".
On October 8, they revealed the EP's title to be Boyfriend. On January 23, 2025 GRID Entertainment announced that the group's leadership has been transferred from Jungbin to Yorch. On February 5, POW teased their first special single, later revealed to be titled "Gimme Love", scheduled for February 17.
On April 3, POW announced a two-parts drama, Always There, from the POW High School Universe. The OST single "Always There" is set for release on April 25. On May 13, POW announced they would be releasing their third EP on June 27.
On May 26, the title was revealed to be Being Tender. On July 30, it was reported that POW would be coming back in September with a new album. On September 19, POW announced that they will be releasing a new single, on September 29, later revealed to be titled "Wall Flowers".
On October 31, POW released the Thai digital single "Gimme Love (Thai Ver. )". On January 15, 2026, POW announced their first single album "Come True", set for release on January 28.
