On December 29, 2022, Daeul was introduced as a contestant of Boys Planet, which began airing on February 2, 2023. On March 23, he was eliminated in episode 8 after ranking 47th place. On April 5, 2023, he released a letter on his Instagram account stating that he has left 143 Entertainment and that he would be pursuing a new dream.

On September 29, 2024, Da Eul was introduced as a contestant on the Chinese-South Korean survival show Starlight Boys. During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 9th overall, thus making him a member of POLARIX. On March 14, 2025, it was revealed he had signed to ES Nation.
