On October 10, 2016, Yeo One made his debut as a member of PENTAGON with the release of their debut album Pentagon. On October 9, 2023, Cube announced that Yeo One had ended his exclusive contract with them, along with 4 other members of PENTAGON. In January 2024, he was revealed as a contestant on Mnet's reality survival show Build Up : Vocal Boy Group Survivor.
On February 7, 2026, Yeo One announced his solo debut with the digital single "Run It Up", scheduled for February 11.
