On July 3, 2024, through PENTAGON's SNS, it was announced that Jinho will be releasing his first Japanese mini album Cho:rd, on August 28. On September 2, through PENTAGON's SNS, it was announced that Jinho will be releasing his first mini album Cho:rd, on September 19. On April 15, 2025, Cube Entertainment announced that their contract with Jinho has ended as of April 14.

On May 19, it was revealed that Jinho has signed with S27M Entertainment. On July 31, S27M Entertainment announced Jinho's KiT project album "Luv 2 Much", scheduled for August 14.
