On February 12, 2026, Lowkeyhouse Entertainment opened the official Instagram and TikTok accounts for their upcoming boy group, named NXMERCY, along with a "coming soon" image. On February 20, 2026, NXMERCY released the time table for their debut digital single, "Burn the Blue", set for release on March 16, 2026. On March 6, they revealed their group concept photos along with the names of the four members.
On March 8, the line-up was officially revealed with concept photos of the members: Youn, Woojoo, Hawoon and Siu, along with their positions, birthdates, MBTI personalities, and representative colors.
