In mid-2023, him and Dayn began training to form a duo together. On March 16, 2024, he debuted in the TAKIEL's male duo NND as their keyboardist with the EP Wonder, I under the name YoungJun. In October, TAKIEL announced that NND's Europe tour had been cancelled because of internal circumstances.

Due to prolonged inactivity, it is presumed they have quietly disbanded by the end of 2024. On February 27, 2025, Way Better announced that he had signed an exclusive contract with them under the stage name YYJ. On September 23, he was introduced as a contestant on the Mnet's band survival show STEAL HEART CLUB.
