On February 20, 2023, he was introduced as a contestant on MBC's boy group survival show Fantasy Boys. During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 7th overall, thus making him a member of FANTASY BOYS. They debuted on September 21, 2023 with the mini album New Tomorrow.
On September 26, 2024, he was officially introduced as a contestant of Project 7. On December 20, he was eliminated in episode 11 after ranking 22nd place. On January 17, 2025, PocketDol Studio revealed that BAE173 would be collaborating with FANTASY BOYS, including Min Seo, for a release sometime in March or April.
They made their debut as Double 0ne on June 12 with the mini album Xpert.
