On September 7, 2020, Bit was introduced as the second member of the pre-debut group POCKETDOLZ. On September 25, it was revealed that the group's name will be BAE173. The group officially debuted on November 19 with their first mini album Intersection : Spark.

On September 29, 2024, Bit was introduced as a contestant on the Chinese-South Korean survival show Starlight Boys. Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the tenth and final episode, thus being unable to debut with POLARIX. On January 17, 2025, PocketDol Studio revealed that BAE173, including Bit, will be collaborating with FANTASY BOYS for a release sometime in March or April.
