On September 11, 2020, Youngseo was introduced as the fourth member of the pre-debut group POCKETDOLZ. On September 25, it was revealed that the group's name will be BAE173. The group officially debuted on November 19 with their first mini album Intersection : Spark.
On January 14, 2024, it was reported that a collaboration between select members of PocketDol Studio groups, including Youngseo, would be released. They made their debut as A SIX on January 30 with the digital single "Lies All Love". On September 26, he was officially introduced as a contestant of Project 7.
He ranked 17th place overall in the finale episode, thus being unable to debut with CLOSE YOUR EYES. On January 17, 2025, PocketDol Studio revealed that BAE173, including Youngseo, will be collaborating with FANTASY BOYS for a release sometime in March or April. They made their debut as Double 0ne on June 12 with the mini album Xpert.
