On March 24, 2019, he was revealed as a contestant of Produce X 101. He was eliminated in episode 5 after ranking #98. On April 3, 2023, he was revealed as the first member of the boy group CMDM.

The group debuted on April 27, 2023 with the single album "Back To The Future". On September 26, 2024, he was officially introduced as a contestant of Project 7. On November 8, he was eliminated in episode 5 after ranking 90th place.
