In 2022, Takuma participated in the Channel A survival show Stars Awakening. Unfortunately, on July 5, it was announced that Takuma had left the show due to health reasons. On March 27, 2024, he was officially introduced as a contestant of MAKE MATE 1.
He ranked 11th place overall in the finale episode, thus being unable to debut with NouerA. On April 19, 2025, Takuma was revealed as a member of the boy group BE BOYS. The group made their debut on June 18, 2025 with the mini album Be:1.
