On September 18, 2020, Yoojun was introduced as the seventh member of the pre-debut group POCKETDOLZ. On September 25, it was revealed that the group's name will be BAE173. The group officially debuted on November 19 with their first mini album Intersection : Spark.
On September 29, 2024, Yoojun was introduced as a contestant on the Chinese-South Korean survival show Starlight Boys. He ranked 10th place overall in the finale episode, thus being unable to debut with POLARIX. On January 17, 2025, PocketDol Studio revealed that BAE173, including Yoojun, will be collaborating with FANTASY BOYS for a release sometime in March or April.
They made their debut as Double 0ne on June 12 with the mini album Xpert.
