On February 2, 2025, Sota was announced as one of the 11 participants of the audition program titled Oen-High. During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 2nd overall, thus making him a part of the debut lineup of aoen. The group made their debut with the single album "The Blue Sun" on June 11.
