On December 29, 2022, Brian was introduced as a contestant of Mnet's survival show Boys Planet, representing Yue Hua Entertainment. The first episode aired on February 2, 2023. On March 23, he was eliminated in episode 8 after ranking 37th place.
On August 2, 2023, Yue Hua Entertainment announced that Brian had left the company. However, on October 18, he was announced as a member of the upcoming boy group AMPERS&ONE under FNC Entertainment. On October 21, Brian was formally introduced as a member of AMPERS&ONE.
They debuted on November 15, 2023 with the single album "Ampersand One".
