On July 19, 2023, parent company RBW revealed during a report that they are planning to launch a new girl group in mid 2024 under their subsidiary WM Entertainment, which will consist of six to seven members between the ages of 16 and 17. On March 24, 2025, WM Entertainment revealed a logo motion for their upcoming girl group USPEER through their SNS accounts. On the same day, it was reported that WM Entertainment plans to debut USPEER in the first half of 2025 and sequentially release group content through their official SNS accounts.
On March 26, it was announced that USPEER would be introduced through their own debut reality show, Run Up!. It would air on their official YouTube account at 8:00 PM (KST) every Thursday, starting on April 10. On March 31, WM Entertainment revealed the members' names through promotional material for Run Up!
with lineup consisting of Yeo Won, So Ee, Si An, Seo Yu, Da On, Chae Na and Roa. On May 19, 2025, USPEER announced their debut single album "Speed Zone", set for release on June 4. On January 6, 2026, it was announced that USPEER's contract with WM Entertainment has concluded on December 31, 2025, as they have amicably concluded negotiations regarding their exclusive contract and trademark rights.
The following day, it was announced that the group has been transferred to MW Entertainment under CEO Lee Won Min's guidance with the plans of beginning a full-length album preparation with the goal of releasing it in the first half of 2026.
