On July 13, 2023, Gehlee was introduced as a contestant on the SBS survival show Universe Ticket. During the show's finale, she was revealed to have ranked 4th overall, thus making her a member of UNIS. She made her debut as the member of UNIS on March 27, 2024 with the mini album We UNIS.
