On September 14, 2021, upon the release of official contestant profiles, Koo Hyunkyoung was revealed as a contestant on the survival show, My Teenage Girl. She was eliminated in the fourth episode, which aired on December 19, 2021. On November 26, 2024, she was announced as the second member of UDTT under the stage name Koo Hanna.
The group made their debut on April 29, 2025 with the single album "School Rush".
