On August 10, 2020, Lee Youngyu revealed that she along with three other girls would debut in a girl group known as 'ㅇㄴㅌㅈ'. Through a dance video uploaded by Youngyu, Oh Sumin was revealed as a member along with Park Jinhee and Kim Sohyun. At the time their debut date was unrevealed.
In October 2021, Sumin along with Youngyu, Jinhee and Sohyun appeared as group contestants on the competitive reality show, Kookmin Singer. Through their entry to the show, it was revealed that the four girls are members of the upcoming girl group Seasoning under DANA Entertainment. Together, they were eventually eliminated but finished within the 'Top 111' ranks (ranks after 40 for individuals were not assigned).
However, in a YouTube video uploaded by Youngyu in late 2021, she revealed that the debut plans for Seasoning had been cancelled, thus the girl group disbanded.
