On March 16, 2018, Red Mint made their debut with the digital single "Do It". The lineup consisted of Ashe (former Love Cubic and Fit Girls member), Luney (former Red-L, Smile. G and INY member), Sally and Haru.
On June 13, 2019, the group debuted their first subunit REDMINTWO, consisting of Ashe and Luney, with the digital single "Cake". Later that same year, Sally and Haru left the group. On March 21, 2021, they released their second digital single "Ice Cream" as a duo with Ashe and Luney.
On August 1, they released their first EP "M. I. N.
T (Money Is Never a Thing)". With this comeback, Ashe changed her stage name to Hyee. On February 9, 2023, they released their third digital single "Dream".
With this comeback, the group introduced a new lineup, consisting of new members SaeA (former Chumchurum and Red-L member) and Lara, as well as former member Haru, now under the stage name Anna. Meanwhile, Luney appeared to be missing and was presumed to have departed from the group. On October 12, the group released their fourth digital single "WA!
". In January 2024, the group started posting with a new lineup, unofficially confirming Lara's departure. The following month, former Icia member Youmin, now under the stage name Meyu, was introduced as a new member.
Meyu presumably left the same year, as the group began promoting as a trio on January 1, 2025. On July 28, 2025, former Rose Finger and DICE member Hayan began promoting as a new member of the group.
