On July 13, 2023, Vanesya was introduced as a contestant on the SBS survival show Universe Ticket. In the sixth episode, it was revealed that Vanesya was eliminated. On January 1, 2025, Na Entertainment teased their then-upcoming global girl group NWH:I on Instagram with Vanesya as one of the trainees they follow.
The group made their debut on October 24, 2025 with the digital single "Like a Flame".
