On July 7, 2021, Yume was confirmed as a contestant on Mnet's reality show, Girls Planet 999, along with the other participating trainees, through the prologue trailer. Her official profile was released on July 19. In the fifth episode, which was aired on September 3, it was revealed that Yume, along with her cellmates, was unfortunately eliminated.
In July 2022, she signed an exclusive contract with B301 Entertainment, which later rebranded to Hyper Rhythm. She later quietly left the agency sometime in 2023. On December 12, 2023, Yume was revealed as the first member of the girl group ViV.
The group made their debut on April 11, 2024 with the EP Bomb. The group presumably disbanded sometime in 2024. On September 5, 2024, Yume was revealed as the second member of the girl group LOVEONE.
They debuted on November 22, 2024 with the single album "Funny Honey".
