On September 2, 2024, CMG Stars opened up SNS accounts for their upcoming girl group LOVEONE set to debut in 2024. Beginning on September 4, each member was unveiled, with Chaei was revealed as the first member, followed by Yume on September 5, Yousom on September 6, Ayeon on September 7 and Yuna on September 8. On November 6, 2024, it was announced that LOVEONE would be debuting on November 22, with the single album "Funny Honey".
On March 10, 2025, it was announced that LOVEONE is scheduled to make their first comeback in April. On March 29, LOVEONE revealed during their performance at the 60th anniversary event of Japan-Korea relations that they will make their comeback on April 25. On April 4, LOVEONE announced their second single "Drama Queen", set to be released on April 25.
On July 7, it was announced that Chaei has departed from LOVEONE after the mutual termination of her exclusive contract with the agency due to personal reasons. The group would continue as a four-member group. On August 5 it was announced that LOVEONE would be releasing the summer special single "Love High" on August 11.
On March 26, 2026, it was announced that LOVEONE will be releasing their third single "Unica", on April 9.
