On January 4, 2017, she was revealed as the fourth member of LOONA. Her solo single album, titled "YeoJin" was released on January 16. On August 20, 2018, LOONA debuted as a full twelve-member group with their first mini album + +.
In an article published by JTBC on November 28, 2022, it was revealed that Yeojin and all LOONA members except Hyunjin and Vivi have reportedly filed a lawsuit to suspend their contracts with BlockBerryCreative due to their trust in the company being damaged. BlockBerryCreative denies all claims. On January 13, 2023, it was revealed that YeoJin, along with Yves, HaSeul, Go Won and Olivia Hye lost the trial against BlockBerryCreative for terminating their exclusive contracts.
On June 16, 2023, The Seoul High Court's 5th Civil Cases Division ruled in favor of her, along with Yves, HaSeul, Go Won and Olivia Hye, to suspend their exclusive contracts with BlockBerryCreative. On July 5, it was reported that she, alongside Go Won and HyeJu (Olivia Hye), had signed exclusive contracts with the new agency CTDENM. On August 2, she was revealed as a member of the girl group Loossemble.
They debuted on September 15, 2023 with the mini album Loossemble. On November 29, 2024, CTDENM announced that its exclusive contract with the Loossemble members had ended. On June 5, 2025, YeoJin announced via the chat app fromm that she has a small gift for the fans in three days, teasing a solo work.
On June 8, she released her first digital single "Dancing In The Dark". On January 26, 2026, it was announced that Yeojin has signed an exclusive contract for a wide range of activities such as music, acting and various content areas with MUMW Entertainment. On March 3, it was announced that YeoJin will be releasing her second digital single "Lv1" on March 10.
