In 2021, she joined the girl group LAYSHA as a guest member to temporarily fill the four-member gap. At that time, member Sia was absent, and Semi took her place during the group's tour in China. After the tour ended, she left the group to resume her career.

In September 2024, Rahye, another former LAYSHA member, posted profile photos of her being in an independent girl group called Dopamine with Semi among the members. On June 3, 2025, LAYSHA's official Instagram account began following Semi again and posting content featuring her, indicating her return to the group.
