On March 21, 2024, Yui was confirmed as a upcoming contestant on Mnet's newest reality show, I-LAND 2, along with the other participating trainees, through the performance video. Her official profile was released the next day. On the seventh episode, she was unfortunately eliminated from the show and was unable to participate in Part 2, ranking 13th.
On February 25, 2025, it was reported that she is a trainee under H1GHR Music and would be debuting in their upcoming girl group formed by three other I-LAND 2 contestants. The group is also a collaboration with AOMG and tentatively named NEWY and AOMG Girls. On March 10, 2026, AOMG announced that the group is officially called Keyveatz.
The group is currently in its final stages of preparation with a goal of debuting in late April.
