On January 20, 2019, she was revealed as a member of the girl group ITZY. They debuted on February 12 with the digital single "IT'z Different". 27 days before the release of their mini album Born To Be, a shortened version of Yuna's self-written and composed song "Yet, But" was released along with a music video.

On January 6, 2026, it was reported that Yuna will make her solo debut in March and has already begun filming for the music video. In response, JYP Entertainment confirmed that Yuna is preparing for her solo debut album however the release date has not been decided as of yet. On March 2, it was announced that Yuna will make her solo debut with the mini album Ice Cream on March 23.
