On June 16, 2023, Iroha was introduced as a contestant on Belift Lab's girl group survival show R U Next?. During the show's finale, she was revealed to have ranked 4th overall, thus making her a member of ILLIT. ILLIT made their debut on March 25, 2024 with the mini album Super Real Me.
